Online Certificate Details
Graduate Certificate in Personal & Family Financial Planning
The online Certificate in Personal and Family Financial Planning (PFFP) is designed to encourage the professional and personal development of students interested in becoming a certified financial advisor while offering the independence and convenience of online learning. As a student of this course, you’ll develop the skills and expertise necessary to help individuals and families organize their financial resources to suit their needs.
The University of Florida offers the online Certificate in Personal and Family Financial Planning in both non-credit and for-credit options. The primary difference between the non-credit and for-credit certificates is that the credits earned in the for-credit certificate can be transferred into the master’s program. Students must decide between the non-credit and for-credit certificate before starting the program.
The online PFPP Certificate is a virtual classroom designed for financial service practitioners, university students, and social/faith-based service agents who have the desire to learn about financial resource management for families.
This program is recognized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc (www.cfp.net). Graduation from this program qualifies students to sit for the CFP® exam to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
