Materials Characterization

Description:
The Materials Characterization Certificate is an opportunity for multidisciplinary engineers and scientists to learn more about current characterization techniques, expose them to available methods for evaluation, and give them a competitive edge in improving their materials, products, and research techniques. Topics include techniques for quality control, multi-scale imaging, composition evaluation, and quantifiable material and surface characteristics, integrity, and finishes.
