Continuing Education Credit in Clinical Toxicology for Nurses
The College of Pharmacy, University of Florida has been approved to provide 10.0 contact hours of continuing education credit for nurses through the course Introduction to Clinical Toxicology.
Introduction to Clinical Toxicology may be taken as a stand-alone course and provides the student with the general principles of signs and symptoms of toxicants, how they enter the body and how the poisoned patient is diagnosed and treated. This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
